Ann Arbor Dentures & Partials Complete Smiles

Will I Need Dentures?

Typically, Dr. Cocco recommends full or partial dentures to patients who’ve lost a significant number of natural teeth – enough that they’re having difficulty speaking clearly and enjoying favorite foods. While dentures have been around for hundreds of years, today’s models are more modern, lifelike, and more comfortable. Our team will do everything in our power to ensure a satisfying and stable fit for patients in need. If you’re interested in scheduling a consultation at our Ann Arbor, MI location, contact our team today!

What is a Full Denture?

Hand holding full dentureFull dentures, like their name implies, are designed to replace all of the teeth along the top or bottom arch of the mouth. They should stay in place within your mouth with the power of natural suction, but patients can also use a little denture adhesive for a more confident fit. Full dentures are removable in nature, and they should be taken out of the mouth when practicing oral hygiene and sleeping.

What is a Partial Denture?

Model of teeth with partial denturePartial dentures are ideal for when a patient has lost teeth along an arch of the mouth, but they still have remaining healthy teeth that they’d prefer not to be removed. The partial fits into place just so, replicating those specific missing teeth so that patients can smile with confidence again. Partial dentures are typically designed to stay in place with the help of strategic clasps and brackets, and like full dentures, they are fully removable in nature.
